Given the extremely short time frame for production, I wanted to take advantage of our limitations in a way that helped creatively tell the story. We first decided to film at one location, allowing us to tell a tense narrative within a contained, familiar space. I also wanted to use a continuous shot for the first half of the film to help draw the audience into the uneasiness of the situation. This also had a nice side effect of reducing the editing time in post-production.

This was filmed for the 24 Hour-ish Film Festival. It was written, shot, and edited within a day. Our film had to have the following elements:
- Line of dialogue: "You're not talented"
- Prop: Tree air freshener
- Special requirement: The 40 Watt Club must make an appearance
